I'm thinking of getting a Freecom MusicPal for the doghouse - specifically for the bathroom. It is a wifi internet radio, that would be able to stream internode's radio stations for free. The reviews are quite good, but it is a bit expensive though, the cheapest price I have found in Australia is from Warcom and is $225.

Well last Wednesday, I had the breakup of my Yorkeys Knob chapter of South Pacific TaeKwon Do . All five students were there, and we have a good little party. There were medallions and certificates for all!

A group of culture seeking friends of mine, as well as yours truly, went to the Babinda Munro Theatre last night to watch Australia . After the place was almost completely destroyed in cyclone Larry, the owner and the community have done a great job of restoring the old place - complete with deck-chair seating. While I would not recommend sitting through a three hour movie in the chairs if you are over 6' tall (like i am), they were quite "quaint" to sit in. The screen is crystal clear, and the new THX sound system is impressive to say the least. Although it is a good hour's drive from the north side of Cairns, I would recommend it for a "proper" movie going experience.

Well, hardly a gang "war", but there are enough tags up to make it look like there is one happening. The ones I have pictured below have been up for a few months, but they are really begining to bug me. I may end up asking the owners if I can paint over them. Anyway, the "war" appears to be between the "LPB" (I would guess, "Lake Placid Boys") and the "BBF" - "Bad Boys Finest". I know I am going to sound old when I say this.. but "Damn Kids"... See, the thing is though, a recent study has given weight to the " Broken Windows Theory " of crime. I think it is time to get out the gernie and wash it off... Well, I've gotten sick not not being able to put everything I want in one place. So I will be adding a collection of articles, stories, picture and probably YouTube videos about a variety of subjects, including Cairns, Code, Humour, Rants etc. No idea who would read this, but welcome :-)
